The R7-07 is the trailer end of the EZR7 product line and includes 4 feet of cable, plug holder, butt connectors, sealant type heat shrink tubing for a watertight splice and a heavy duty tie wrap to secure the cable to the tongue. The plug holder mounts onto the trailer and holds the trailer plug when not in use. When connected, you remove the dummy plug from the vehicle socket and place it in the trailer plug holder. This results in a clean, corrosive-free trailer plug system that will keep you on the road!

This item is compatible with both R7 and S7 style female EZ Connector Magnetic Electrical Connectors, e.g. S7-05; S7-06; R7-01; R7-02; R7-05; R7-06. The primary differences between the R7-07 and the S7-07 is the shape and design of the outer plastic housing (S7-07 includes slight recess in pin face area as additional mechanism to prevent short if placed against a continuous metal surface); some R7-07 connectors come with open face magnets; the storage holder that comes with the S7-07 is self-closing/covered, versus a non-covered storage holder on the R7-07; and the S7-07 has additional grip reinforcements. Besides these differences, the overall function of the two connectors is the same.
